Welcome to my Blog.

Welcome to my Blog.

Welcome to the start of something sticky, strange, and surprisingly beautiful. This blog is where I’ll be sharing photos and stories from my adventures with carnivorous plants—both the ones I grow at home and the ones I’ve tracked down in the wild. From misty mountains in Central America to quiet greenhouses tucked away in unexpected places, I’m on a mission to document the weird and wonderful world of botanical predators.

Along the way, I’ll also be visiting other growers, exchanging knowledge, and showcasing the stunning diversity of these plants—some no bigger than a coin, others large enough to trap a small frog. Expect a mix of cultivation tips, species highlights, propagation experiments, and plenty of photos. Whether you’re a fellow collector, a curious beginner, or just here for the weird plant pics, I’m glad you’re along for the ride.

I was wondering if your plants will do well outdoors on the California central coast or would I need to duplicate your greenhouse set up? I am trying to set up a garden in my 2-year-old 500-gallon koi kiddy pool in a hollowed-out pumice stone. Your thoughts?
