The extra depth gives roots room to grow strong in Venus flytraps, sundews, sarracenia, butterworts, and plenty more. It holds that consistent moisture we need, fits right into standard 1020 trays for easy bottom watering, and has great drainage holes to keep things from getting waterlogged.

The substrate is my trusted pure long fiber sphagnum moss (sourced from clean, high-quality stuff), with its natural airy structure that retains moisture perfectly while letting roots breathe and stay oxygenated. It has those built-in anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties to help prevent issues, plus it creates the ideal acidic, low-mineral environment without any junk that could throw off the pH. No mixing or prepping on your end, no guesswork, just soak it if needed, drop in your plant, water with distilled or rainwater, and you’re set. Many growers see faster, bigger growth with this compared to standard mixes.

Made from medium quality plastic that will last multiple seasons. It’s lightweight, holds up fine for our setups, and way better than terra cotta for acidic soil since it doesn’t leach anything weird.
