•  Freshly collected and dried pollen – I harvest it only after your order comes in, no old stock, no frozen stuff sitting around. This keeps viability at its peak.

•  At least 5 anthers loaded with what looks like solid, viable yellow pollen grains.

•  Full rights to use the male parent photo (the one I provide) for selling any seeds or plants from that exact cross. Go wild with your hybrids!

•  Shipping takes a bit extra time – plan on 5 to 7 days for me to collect, dry properly, and pack it up safely. Patience pays off here.

Quick Tips for Successful Nepenthes Pollination From my 20+ years of breeding these beauties:

•  Nepenthes are dioecious (separate male and female plants), so you need a receptive female flower and good pollen.

•  The female flower is ready when the stigma gets sticky and starts dripping nectar – that’s prime time for pollination.

•  Use a clean, soft paintbrush (or fine artist’s brush) to lightly dab the pollen right onto the tip of the stigma. You’ll see those yellow grains stick immediately if it’s receptive.

•  Apply as soon as the female flower is ready – stigmas can stay receptive for days to a week or so, but fresher pollen is better.

•  A great sign of success: within about a week, the stigma turns brown. If that happens, you’re likely golden.

•  Seed pods take time – up to 6 months for full ripening, so hang in there. Patience is key with these.

•  Use the pollen fresh on arrival for the best shot, but if you need to, store it in the freezer for a few months (viability drops over time, but fresh is king).

Availability & Pricing Pollen only drops when my plants are flowering, and batches sell out fast because of how tricky it is to collect and ship viable stuff. Some species are super rare or from older, hard-to-flower plants, so prices reflect that (expect a mix of affordable and premium options down the line).

Important Notes No guarantees on every single pollination working – Nepenthes can be finicky with timing, humidity, or just plain luck – but I’ve shipped pollen for years with tons of happy growers getting viable seeds.
