This cross pairs N. naga 'Paul B' — a Barisan Mountains endemic from North Sumatra growing epiphytically at 1,500–2,000 m — with the notoriously slow, high-altitude N. villosa from Borneo's Kinabalu massif, two of the most architecturally extreme highland Nepenthes in cultivation. Expect the heavily ribbed, toothed peristome of villosa to assert itself hard in the offspring, tempered by naga's elongated pitcher form and distinct epiphytic character. Paul B provenance on the naga side means the parentage is solid.
