Heliamphora x tatei Cerro Duida x folliculata Murosipan clone K60 CC (Shipped Bare-Root)

This striking hybrid combines the towering pitchers of Cerro Duida's H. tatei with the flamboyant coloration of H. folliculata from Murosipan Tepui, both high-altitude Venezuelan endemics. Clone K60 CC promises the elegant pale-to-golden pitcher development of tatei enhanced by folliculata's remarkable transformation from golden yellow through orange and crimson, backed by the unusual concave nectar spoon architecture distinctive to this complex lineage.

Care Requirements

Light — Bright indirect light or moderate direct sun. Avoid intense midday sun — Heliamphora prefer cooler, highland conditions.

Water — Pure water only, under 50ppm dissolved solids. Use distilled, reverse osmosis, or collected rainwater. Most tap water will not work. Keep the pitchers partially filled with water and the soil consistently moist.

Temperature — Cool to intermediate. Day temps of 65–80°F (18–27°C) with cooler nights of 45–60°F (7–16°C). Many species require cool nights year-round.

Soil — Pure long-fiber sphagnum moss or a mix of peat and perlite. Garden soil will not work.

Humidity — High humidity preferred, 60–90%. A terrarium or greenhouse setup is ideal for most species.
