This three-way hybrid combines Philippine truncata with the remote Bornean highlands, blending the massive striped pitchers and legendary peristomes of truncata × ephippiata Giant with the vigor and refinement of high-altitude mollis. Collectors covet this cross for its potential to inherit the dramatic red-and-yellow banded peristomes and vaulted lids characteristic of ephippiata, while gaining the robust, reliable growth of mollis—a powerhouse combination from three distinct regional lineages.
