Nepenthes × harryana is the natural hybrid of two Mount Kinabalu icons — N. edwardsiana with its dramatically ribbed peristome and N. villosa with its heavily toothed, wavy peristome. This greenhouse-bred clone captures the best of both parents, making it one of the most coveted high-elevation Kinabalu hybrids in the hobby.
Carefully cultivated in our greenhouse for optimal health and vigor, this N. x harryana thrives in highland conditions mimicking Borneo’s misty 1,500–2,500m elevations: daytime temps of 70–80°F, nighttime drops to 55–65°F, high humidity (70–90%), bright indirect light, and pure water. Perfect for growchambers or greenhouses. Its petite pitchers are already adept at trapping insects, blending function with fascination.
Key Features:
• Pitcher Size: Small, ~1-inch cross, with growth potential
• Rarity Level: Greenhouse-bred hybrid; limited small-size stock
Ideal for intermediate to advanced growers, this greenhouse-bred N. x harryana is a rare, healthy start to your highland Nepenthes collection. Plant size: Small, ~1-inch cross. Ships bare-root for safe transit.
Note: Carnivorous plants require care post-transit—provide humid, bright conditions for smooth acclimation.
