Nepenthes truncata x villosa #1 - Seed Grown (Shipped Bare Root)

These Taerwe Tropicals imports are still fairly new, brought in during July 2026, so yours may arrive without an active pitcher just yet. They have had enough time in my care to settle in well, and I am confident they will grow great once they have found their new home.

This cross uses my biggest truncata, crossed with villosa #1.

Nepenthes truncata contributes broad, thick pitcher structure, dramatic size, and lowland vigor. On the other side, villosa brings its famously heavy, toothy peristome and cool highland origins from Mount Kinabalu, one of the most recognizable features in the genus.

As a seed grown plant, each individual carries its own unique mix of traits from this parentage. No two plants in a batch will be identical, and pitcher shape, coloration, and vigor will vary as the plants mature.

Bred by me (Jeremiah), sourced directly from Taerwe Tropicals of Belgium through our exclusive US partnership.
