This legendary leucophylla clone from Mike King's collection (acquired via UK grower Ian Salter in 2006) is renowned as one of the tallest Sarracenia in cultivation, with spring pitchers reaching an astounding 120 cm (48 inches). Its Spanish-derived name "Bocaza" refers to the exceptionally wide mouth opening, while the dramatic white background heavily veined in pink and red intensifies under strong sunlight.

Our bare root Sarracenia (North American pitcher plants) are shipped according to their natural growing cycle. During the active growing season (spring through early fall), you'll receive a plant with live foliage, often including vibrant pitchers. In the winter months, Sarracenia naturally enter dormancy, and will be shipped without leaves or with brown, dying pitchers—this is completely normal and essential for the plant's long-term health.
