This second-generation selection from Rob Co (RC) represents one of the rarest forms in cultivation—an anthocyanin-free S. purpurea ssp. venosa, a mutation almost unheard of in this subspecies. Where typical venosa produces bulbous pink pitchers, this F2 displays the electric-green coloration of plants lacking all red pigmentation, a recessive trait carefully stabilized through selective breeding.
