Sarracenia x Legacy (Shipped Bare-Root)

Sarracenia 'Legacy' is a 2008 cross by Brooks Garcia of 'Leah Wilkerson' × 'Adrian Slack', grown out and selected by Rob Co of The Pitcher Plant Project. This registered cultivar produces 60-75 cm pitchers that develop an intensifying white upper portion and a striking dark red throat splotch as they mature under strong light, with the coloration remaining stable across growing conditions.

Our bare root Sarracenia (North American pitcher plants) are shipped according to their natural growing cycle. During the active growing season (spring through early fall), you'll receive a plant with live foliage, often including vibrant pitchers. In the winter months, Sarracenia naturally enter dormancy, and will be shipped without leaves or with brown, dying pitchers—this is completely normal and essential for the plant's long-term health.
