I received this one from Danny P. This select clone from master hybridizer Phil Faulisi crosses the registered Sarracenia leucophylla 'Mesa Exotics' with his dark, vigorous 'Alucard' "Prince of Darkness" (itself a complex hybrid of S. flava var. rubricorpora × S. 'Royal Ruby'), aiming to create what Faulisi calls a "super-moorei" with deep maroon coloration and exceptional size potential exceeding 36 inches. A sibling to his cultivar 'Strawberry Shortcake', this cross represents Faulisi's exacting standards—honed over two decades of breeding—that have made his plants among the most coveted and valuable in the collector community.
