Jeremiah Harris is a world-renowned carnivorous plant grower with over three decades of hands-on experience. Based in Colorado, he’s been cultivating carnivorous plants since 1992 and currently grows more than 2,000 unique varieties from nearly every known genus. His growing setups are as specialized as the plants themselves, including three greenhouses, a greenhouse window, multiple grow chambers, and even a converted freezer designed for ultra-highland Nepenthes—his personal favorite genus. Some hardier species are even moved outdoors during the summer months. Jeremiah is also a two-time Guinness World Record holder a testament to both his dedication and expertise.
Jeremiah’s work is rooted in both scientific curiosity and personal dedication. Over the years, he has traveled the globe to observe carnivorous plants in their native habitats, gaining a firsthand appreciation for the environments that shaped them. This deep field experience informs the way he grows, studies, and shares his plants. Every specimen he offers has been cultivated with the utmost care, reflecting not just horticultural expertise but genuine respect for these extraordinary species. Through his growing, teaching, and sharing, Jeremiah is helping preserve and celebrate some of the most fascinating plants on Earth.
